What are the names of the subdivisions nearby or within a few blocks of the Marta rail stations on the west side of Atlanta? Thanks in advance to all for your responses

The Westside Village is a new nice subdivision with new townhomes/condos and retail commercial, it's near Northside Drive with great access to Marta train and bus service since it sits literally on top of the station. Check it out the subdivision on the we at Historic Westside Village It's right off the Marta on the Ashby Station(MARTA - Getting There - Rail Stations (http://www.itsmarta.com/getthere/stations/ashby.htm - broken link)) which is 2 stops away from The Five Points Marta Station.

This subdivision is also 5-8 minutes to Atlantic Station/Downtown/Midtown and close to other great amenities in the city with great street/highway access to anywhere in the city. The townhomes are VERY NICE ( I can personal attest since I live there). It's the only new development on the Westside with direct Marta access via train. The builder of is Brock Built and I'm very satisfied (Brock Built - The Commons - Townhomes in Atlanta, GA (http://www.brockbuilt.com/community_details.php?comm_id=16 - broken link)). Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions.

Here is another subdivision by JLW Homes on the end of the West Line at HE Holmes Marta Station which is 4 stops from downtown at Five Points Marta Station. This subdivision is about 5 years old and has some good deals on builder-close outs and is a townhome subdivison http://www.jlwhomes.com/communities/...inte/index.htm - Collier Pointe in Atlanta Georgia by JLW Homes and Communities[/url].
MARTA - Getting There - Rail Stations (http://www.itsmarta.com/getthere/stations/holmes.htm - broken link)

It's not a bad location and has alot of stores in the area and it has direct access to I-20 and 285 so it's very convenient and fairly close to city attractions.

That's about it for new subdvisions with direct Marta access on the Westside but in the future I believe The West Lake Marta Station and the Vine City Station will experience more growth around their Marta Stations. The Vine City station is kind of limited since it's on Northside Drive with the GA Dome across from it but the neighborhood behind it has some nice houses which are close to the station. The West Lake station has existing single family homes and unless they re-develop the parking lot that isn't in use there won't be any new subdivisons on the station at West Lake. I lvoe being walking distance to Marta and I believe that it's truly the way of the future for development here in Atlanta. Hope this helps...
