There are many decent apartment homes in that area. I used to live in Barrington Mill Apartment off of Terril Mill drive. It's gated and has a gym, pool and tennis courts, on site laundry or laundry hook ups in your apartment. It's not the best, but it's safe.

Married couple with a one year old is moving from South Florida to Atlanta. I will be working at downtown near to Peachtree Center. We want to live close to work (at least within 5-10 miles) and be able to use MARTA. We are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment (less than $1000 / month) in a neighborhood that is safe, quiet and good for walking. We are in our late 40’s and we enjoy libraries, museums, bookstores, ethnic food. Our terms for searching are flexible. Any suggestions, Thanks |

If you work in downtown Atlanta, you don't want to live outskirt of Atlanta. You will get caught trafic when you commute to work. In your case, I would choose in town living where you can access city amenities such as library, museums, concerts, and movies. For a two bed room intown apartment, price is highe for a decent location, but supply is plenty.
