My husband and my two children (4 & 3months) relocated to Henry County back in Sept of 06. We are a military family, and decided to take orders at Fort Gilliem. We formely lived in Jacksonville, FL for the past 6 years. We owned a home there, but the housing in FL is not an affordable market.

So when our realtor showed us a home in Henry County in the Wesely Lakes area for such a great price we thought, great! But since we've been here I've heard nothing but bad things about this area (drugs, crime etc.)

Please someone tell me that this area is not that bad. Oh my goodness I feel like crawling in a corner and crying nonstop. I thought I did all my research via the internet and etc. The schools didn't place low on Georgia Education site.

Is there any advise or have we made a HUGE MISTAKE!!!!
