Can anyone tell me about the Utoy Hills neighborhood in Atlanta's South Fulton County? The zip code is 30311

I'm interested in finding out more about safety and crime, schools, neighborhood amenities and attributes - parks, community centers, grocery stores, farmer's markets, access to public transportation, etc.

Remind me... Where exactly is Utoy Hills? What is the street you are looking at? 30311 is an interesting Zip. You have mansions, rough spots, and the Mayor's home all in 30311.

Parks: Cascade Nature Preserve & John White Park (Golf Course & Tennis Center) are in 30311 on Cascade Rd.

Food: Publix and Kroger are on Cascade + The Beautiful Restaurant + Starbucks (If that is your thing).

Transportation: Area is not walking distance to Marta Station, but bus routes are scattered throughout.

Crime: Depends where in 30311. If you live on the Mayor's street or a gated community it is minimal to non-existent. In the rough areas... you've guessed it! Visit APD's Crime Map to see stats.

The area in the Utoy Hills neighborhood I am considering is located off Avon Avenue SW, Sandtown Road SW, and Venetian Drive SW.

Does that help? Is this a family friendly neighborhood?

Does anyone know of a detailed map that lists the area by neighborhoods, subdivisions and zip codes. That would help my search immensely.
