There are many Portuguese all over Atlanta, however we do no have an organized community here.
Very soon I'll be putting up a web site, as well as grocery store, petiscos, etc..

There is a store "Sabores de Portugal" in Roswell, the owners tend to organize the Portugues community events. They also have a restaurant on exit 11 off 400 (Old Milton).

To get to the store take exit 6 off 400, follow straight to Roswell Rd, and make a right on Roswell Rd. After you pass the next light it will be on the shopping center on your left, behind a brasillian restaurant (Carro de Boi, I think that is the name of the restaurant).

The owners are very nice, and everyone gets together there for fresh Pastelaria e bica.

The store and the restaurant are owned by the same couple. Her name is Didete (sp) also owns the hair salon next to the store in Roswell.

They have events all the time. I just attended a picnic this past Sunday.

There are many Portuguese in GA, the group from this Sunday were very kind hearted individuals, not to mention they speak perfect portugues.

They were talking about doing a Clam Bake sometime soon, but I'm not sure when.
