Hello how are all of you hijackers doing jk, but anyways I'm trying very hard to find a job in atlanta, bs:sociology, masters: applied social science. I'm glad I find this post because maybe I can try to work with Robert Half, but I have some federal jobs I applied to on www.usajobs.gov and those may turn out find, but it just takes a long time for the processing and background checks, etc. One is with the equal employment opportunity as a investigator. But I don't want to be a thread hijacker either Congradulations on the degree diva, what school did you goto? I went to FAMU. I'm sure you will have no problem finding a job in atlanta. God Bless

update: I didn't even know what Robert Half and thought it was a job seeking company for all types of job, but I believe i'll start my own post and ask questions for a good company. God Bless

Diva - I moved here two years ago with no job and found one within 6 weeks. I am in high-tech marketing. I was in your same boat. No one wanted to consider an out of state candidate, but as soon as I had an address here, I was golden. Don't sweat it! The job market is good here.

I would definitely recommend that you rent before you buy a house though, and then buy a house close to work. Traffic is a beast.

Was back at the Northside Hospital area bright and early and noticed that they had a banner over that sign announcing a change of date for their Career Fair from February 5th to February 8, 2007. Because I had posted the original date here, I looked it up on the website:

Career Open House

Northside Hospital-Atlanta, Women's Center Atrium
February 8, Noon - 5pm

Northside Hospital-Cherokee, Magnolia/Dogwood Room
February 15, Noon - 5pm
March 20, Noon - 5pm

Northside Hospital-Forsyth, Library
February 28, Noon - 5pm
March 15, Noon - 5pm
March 21, Noon - 5pm
