Traffic in the morning?
Hello, does anyone travel between I-20 and I-285 alot? How's the traffic in the weekday morning, from 7 - 8am?

I don't do it very often and should not comment but the reports on the radio indicate that it is a 'Battle' at times. Certain to be a 'window of time' when things are less ferocious.
The drivers do not seem to care much for 'courtesy'--many trucks and determined commuters seem to use this leg of I285/I20. Comparable, I believe to the hellacious Barret Parkway in Cobb County. 'Death'--that is what I am prepared for if I have to go 'Over There'.

East or West side? Then, we can give you better idea tho, its not much of difference between either side in the morning to be honest...SLOW...

Corey is correct. Before 7am you are for the most part ok, after 7:10 good luck.
Always keep your radio tuned to AM750 in the morning for Capt. Herb and the traffic center. For the most part they are usually spot on.

Well, thanks for all the replies. I have been driving I-285 and I-20 in the morning 6:30 - 7:30. Traffic wasn't bad at all. There are lots of cars, but traffic isn't bad. Cars are moving about 60mph~ So, here you go, if anyone wants to know.
