There are definitely trailer parks in Cobb County. There is one across from Dobbins on Atlanta Road for one.

The OP raises a damn good question. The Atlanta area used to have several predominately white areas that I wouldn't want to spend time in, but they have either gentrified or they have become black areas.
Take Cabbagetown for example. Back in the 70s, I wouldn't want to be in Cabbagetown after dark, but now it's no problem. The Bolton Road area is gentrifying pretty quickly. The area around Brookhaven Marta Station is almost totally gentrified now. The area just north of Hapeville used to be kinda hairy, but it's not a white area anymore. Same is true for a little area off of Buford Hwy in Gwinnett.
There are parts of Smyrna that used to be kinda rough, but it's been so long since I've been out there that I don't know how things are now.
I dunno. Did they all move to Blairsville and Blue Ridge?

I would tend to agree with the Buckhead as undesirable sentiment...but that's because I am prejudiced against preppies...

Yes, the City of Atlanta does have trailer parks with some located in northwest Atlanta and southwest Atlanta with some whites living in them. The majority of the residents tend to be Hispanic/Latino from other countries...since the city tends to allow anything as far as trailer parks. They don't know what to do...so it's an ugly blight on the City of Atlanta as to what they think of the Hispanic/Latino population to allow them to live this way without proper sanitary services.
