Thank you so much for your reply and sharing your lovely pictures of your beautiful family. My prayers to you for much happiness, safety, prosperity and that you're surrounded by all those you love!
I'm coming back soon ... perhaps retiring in Palm Springs or my hometown of San Luis Obispo. OR time between both!
Let's see.. don't forget ... SD Zoo, SeaWorld ... ummm, have dinner in LaJolla on the cliffs with spouse. (babysitter required for children <hint>) ...
AND ... perhaps if a driving trip North ... please visit Santa Barbara (my brother lives there) ... San Luis Obispo (my hometown, HS grad '74) and Hearst Castle in San Simeon.
That will keep you busy for at least the next 12mos. Once again...best 2 u

Yeah, way up in northern Smyrna. That seems like a rough area to me, anyway.

You know something however RC? There is something MUCH WORSE than living in a "mobile" home or "trailer" park?
IS HAVING A "TRAILER PARK" mentality. And you can have that living in a mansion.
See it all the time. And no trailer or mobile home in sight ...

That's Fair Oaks, one of the most undesirable areas in Atlanta I would say.

Yeah, I agree. FWIW, I've known folks who have lived in trailer homes in other parts of the country (including my wife, who bought her own double-wide trailer in a Twin Cities exurb right out of college and lived in it for a few years because she didn't believe in paying rent and couldn't afford an actual house right away) and it wasn't much different from any other neighborhood. No crack houses, no rowdy behavior, etc. Mostly younger folks who were slowly working their way up the housing chain.
My comment was based on crime maps and stats I've seen related to Cobb County, not on the trailer park itself (which I know nothing about).

There are actually a few 'beach' resort mobile home parks on Pacific Coast Highway (CA 1) between Santa Monica and Malibu. Been there for years. Some allow folks with large "Winnebago" type travel accomodations to park there and rent the space.
There are a few mobile home 'mentalities' living even in Buckhead. A few years ago at a fund-raiser ... the hostess declared the cost and price of everything in her home to all the guests. OUCH! Former lotto winner I believe...

Trailer Parks in Atlanta
FYI,
There are several trailer parks inside the City of Atlanta only minutes from midtown or downtown. Example: Chattahoochee Avenue. This park has been there for over 50 years. One the highest rated mexican restaurants in Atlanta sits right in front of it. I bet you have even had dinner there and didn't realize the trailer park was surrounding you.

You shouldn’t speak on a topic unless you are able to give an informed opinion on a subject of which you are sure about!! There are a couple of trailer parks in the actual city of Atlanta, there’s one on Chattahoochee Ave in West Midtown across from Pepsi Bottling Company, which so happens to be right in front of my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant Nuevo Laredo. There is another one in the Riverside area right in between Hollywood Rd and Bolton Rd., and there is another in the fringe part of Atlanta going along Fulton Industrial heading towards Adamsville, and those are just the ones in the West Midtown, Westside NorthWest Atlanta area. Im almost sure Ive seen one on a back street in the Lakewood area as recently as when I was in high school ( which wasn’t that long ago) but Im not certain exactly what neighborhood it was. All of the above are in Atlanta, not the suburbs, but in the actual city of Atlanta. Now I have a question for you- do you live in Atlanta or some far out suburb??? Probably the latter!!!

All of Atlanta go away.
