Lightbulb Please give me some advice honestly

hi my sons and i are trying to relocate to georgia from maryland because the cost of living is way too high here and the lights alone will have us living in darkness. I need advise on the nice areas of georgia to move to. I am disabled and can't afford to move to a drama filled area or even the ghetto. I want to move to a quiet area the will be good for me and my boys. Looking for to all honest answers.

I would not know which area of GA to recommend without knowing a price range for housing and if you wish to rent or purchase a home.

Also, if you seek an area that is diverse then you would find more of that around metro Atlanta. There are 'quiet' small towns in Georgia but I'm not certain that the lifestyle is comparable to Maryland.

Greensboro, GA is a wonderful little Southern town, SE of Atlanta>>>

Decent drama free areas will depend on what you can afford to rent unless you're wanting to buy right away. I would suggest renting first to get to know the metro better. Decatur (City of), West End, Midtown, EAV (East Atlanta Village), another thing too consider is how often you will want to use public transportation or Marta besides your car to get around. Those that live in the northern suburbs will give their own input on what areas are quiet and drama free.

Once more; you can check out craigslist: atlanta classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events or Promove.com, they can help in locating apartments in the Atlanta metro. www.ajc.com has most rental classifieds in their classified section also. Hope this information helps you.

We have encountered no drama in East Cobb and our friends in West Cobb haven't either, there are some affordable homes for rent in both areas but you may have to hunt for one depending on your budget.
