I have a question, I if live in Lawrenceville and work in Dunwoody. What kind of commute do I have to look forward too, I have to be at work @ 8am also what time should I leave the house? According to the yahoo map my office is 16 minutes from my home. Please advise.

16 minutes sounds like it would be Lawrenceville to Dunwoody around 2:00 a.m. You're gonna spend a lot more time than that in the car for your rush hour commute. Check out www.georgia-navigator.com, it is very helpful for estimating trip times and finding out about traffic in general.

The question alone gives me a splitting headache! I strongly recommend that you check and see if Gwinnett's transit system provides any bus service from L'ville to Dunwoody.

'They' should have extended MARTA all the way to Lawrenceville back in the early 80's.
*(I have family/friends that live in Gwinnett and heard why this Could Not/Should Not happen about 20 years ago. They really don't like to hear what I think about this.)

Now--it seems almost impossible to go from East to West and traveling N to S has always been difficult.

It's not too late to start digging.

Barbie--
I just found this--Marta/Lawrenceville/Ride Share--
Here>>>

~~~
FYI on MARTA/Gwinnett--in case you move there --it seems the residents along 78/Snellville/Lawrenceville adamantly oppose MARTA...
My estimate for that trip in the am and pm rush hour is a safe 35-45 mins.
All depends on an accident. For some reason u see the weirdest accidents down here. Ones that make you say "how the hell did they do that?"
