Default Atlanta # 1 city for dating (?). Ummmmm

Well, with the number of people who come in regularly to complain about the dating scene in Atlanta, I find this article hard to believe. Still, apparently, Atlanta is the # 1 city now for dating.

"#1 city for dating"...according to Forbes magazine?
That's the one I always read for dating advice.

Forbes didn't do the research, they just published the results...

Anyway, only the people who have something to complain about are going to come to the forums....

People that come on here complaining about their relationship(s); didn't put much effort into establishing creditable relationships from where they came and now they expect they will find, Mr. or Mrs. Right, here in Atlanta. More talk less rolling in the sheets. Learn that person's side effects as Simone tells it in the Queens of Comedy.

I lived in the Atlanta area for 18 years and never even had the chance to go on a date. It wasn't until I moved to Augusta that I was able to start a relationship. I find the singles scene in Atlanta to be highly overrated.

LOL Really!

The thing to remember is that these magazines have discovered that rankings sell magazines. Forbes seems to have some kind of ranking in every issue. They gather a bunch of statistics, assign some kind of point system and presto you have a ranking. If Atlanta was #1 or #101 I wouldn't put much stock into them.

Overall, I thought it was pretty easy and many of my friends that moved here from other big cities felt the same way. Pretty diverse make-up of personalities (ie, you can meet traditional southern girls from small towns, transplanted northerners/westerners/etc, or standard suburban types) and tons of places to go on dates. I really don't know what anyone would have to complain about here. One thing that is MUCH better here than in other bigger cities is the approachability of people.

I thought Atlanta was the Black mecca/White mecca/Worst place for jobs/Worst interacial dating city/Worst public transportation city and Worst place for schools.
Go Atlanta for singles
