Default Bars/lounges in Buckhead or Midtown

Hey Everyone,

Just moved to Alpharetta from NYC and need to find a few lounges/bars in Midtown or Buckhead. A friend is coming to visit next weekend so I need a few cool, loungy places. Also, if anyone can suggest a bar in Alpharetta, that would be great too.

Thanks!

Try the new W Hotel at Colony Square. Their bar/lounge is pretty swanky on the weekends. I also like MidCity Cafe underneath MidCity Lofts on W. Peachtree.

I really like the new Fado in Buckhead..it's huge!
In Midtown, CosmoLava is consistently good.

In Alpharetta, the Applebee's bar scene is super trendy

Isn't this the one that Rande Gerber (Cindy Crawford's husband) opened? It looks really cool.

Oh come on, someone's got to come up with somewhere cool to hang in A-retta.
But come to think of it, when Bobby and Whitney wanted to party, they were always high-tailing it down to Buckhead...

BTW, The Tavern at Phipps (Plaza) has become somewhat iconic among the thirtysomething watering holes.
