Default Avalon of Sandy Springs, other suggestions?

Great info on these pages. Thanks everyone. I am looking into the Avalon of Sandy Springs townhomes off exit 6, GA 400. Directions say exit 6 then immediate right onto Dunwoody Place, townhomes are 1 mile on right. Drove by very briefly in the afternoon yesterday and area looked ok but I worry that Northridge has such a bad reputation. Prices are around $160K and I am hoping to spend not more than $250K and live in a new-ish home at most 30min commute to Midtown. Any ideas? Thanks!!
