Do I really need to pop in and say to stop crossing the "personal insults" line, folks?

Fine - murders are murders. Some cities have more murders than Atlanta. Some cities have less. One murder is too many, but we still have too many here, so let's just agree on THAT, ok?

When I hear crime stats on Atlanta, I always used to wonder about Clayton County, Bankhead areas, etc. (since those would not be part of Atlanta stats). Thanks for that stat on Clayton county.

I looked it up on the clayton county police web site. You may also be able to type it in on google under 2007 clayton county crime rate as well.

i googled dekalb county 2007 crime rate and got 99 murders..wow
