I've seen good gas availability in the suwanee/lawrenceville area. Even in my hometown of cumming all the gas stations are out. Best time to go is early morning between 2 am and 9 am.

I know this will be old by the time anyone sees it, but there was no line at the Shell on the corner or Peachtree Industrial and Pleasant Hill about 10 minutes ago.

Since last week there have been posts saying gas supplies were low or difficult to find around Charlotte, NC. Things may be improving.

A local TV station has created this site --mainly for the metro Atlanta area>>>

There is a similar thread in the Georgia forum that may have the FYI you desire. Several days ago posters reported critical shortages in both north and south ga.

Tankers are making more deliveries in metro Atlanta and I assume supplies are increasing statewide.

QT/QuikTrip seems to be promising more gas>>>
Quik Trip Gas Prices - Find the Lowest Gas Prices at Quik Trip Gas Stations in Atlanta, Georgia

I would be more afraid of being outside of Atlanta in a rural stretch and running out but both would be bad.

Supposedly there is gas in Alabama if you can take that route.

It may be illegal to carry a gas can in Georgia. At any rate there seems to be more gas this week than last. I'm guessing that you can plan your trip so that you aren't in a remote area while its dark so you should be OK.

godspeed
