Where would YOU live?
In terms of traffic, crime, house prices, schools, etc: if you could pick up and move right now to another area in Atlanta... where would you move to and why? Or would you stay in the neighborhood you currently live in, and why?

Brookhaven.
Convenient location. Access to MARTA rail. Lower crime for an inside the perimeter area. Reason: I used to live in that area but due to work had to leave it. Would live there again given the opportunity.

I love Decatur, and am happy here right now. My next move would probably be to a secure building in Ansley Park that I could lock up and leave for extended periods of time. I'd be close to great restaurants, theatres, museums and in a great walking neighborhood.

They'd probably pay you to live there at this point.

I would move to a high rise in Midtown Atlanta within easy walking distance to Piedmont Park. I lived in a small condo practically on Piedmont Park when I was in my 20's (I still have the unit as a rental). Like Lovin', I would walk to restaurants and entertainment. I would defiantly want a unit with a view overlooking Piedmont Park in one direction and downtown Atlanta in another direction.

Where to live
We live in the Emory area. It is close to a lot of different sites; including Midtown, Emory University, CDC, and Fernbank Museum. It is not as easy to get to at times. Clairmont Road can be busy as well as other main roads off I-85.
Most people that live in Atlanta enjoy living in a particular area and usually staying in close proximity to that area. In other words, they don't venture out of that area often.

If I could move anywhere, I would probably want to live in one of the huge mansions in the Buckhead area. You get a safe area with lots of prestige, and plenty of access to city life.
