Default Louisville uses Atlanta in travel ads... actually kinda funny.

Someone posted this in another room, but apparently the city of Louisville is coming up with some rather creative pokes at other cities to draw visitors (or potential residents) there.

This is their Atlanta commercial. Ok, aside from going on the offensive, you do have to admit, it's funny:
YouTube - Atlantans - Louisville can help you.

Hey.. we got off easier than
Dallas, Texas and
Los Angeles did though. LOL

I wonder what would happen if they aired the Atlanta one on local TV here? Either folks would laugh, or there would be flaming torches headed for Louisville. LOL

I think most would just laugh it off because we all know that our traffic sucks; I think that only the Texas cities would take offense with that whole cosmopolitan thing.

I think Louisville is a perfect sized town, not too big or too small and the people are very friendly.

Totally agree on Louisville .. home of UPS! Also during "Derby week" they have all sorts of festivals, concerts, fireworks, air shows, etc.

Whomever thought these up was absolutely ingenious! Such "biting" and obvious truths about the other locations and diabolical satire...

Very true!!!

I attended college in L'ville and still live 45 minutes from there. How right you are, especially on the "not really much of anything."

I don't think these are very good at all.....they could have done much better with the basic concept.
