Default Dunwoody Cityhood and Building Permits

Once Dunwoody officially becomes a city on Dec. 1, will it be more difficult to get a building permit (residential) or will things stay the same as far as being able to apply for a permit in a day? Just asking as I know it's next to impossible to get a permit to do anything in Sandy Springs since cityhood.

No one knows yet, I am afraid.

they are really struggling to figure out how to pay for a new government and right now you can expect services to be bare for perhaps the next year or two.

This is a great source for all things about Dunwoody...

It'll depend on how they set up the City's building department- if it has a large enough staff, it'll probably go smoothly- if they don't staff up, it could be painful.
