Just a heads-up on something to do without having to drive very far (for some):
This Saturday (Oct. 4th) is the "
Cobb Food & Arts Festival ", in West Cobb County. It used to be the Taste of Kennesaw, but they made it broader and moved it to Jim Miller Park in West Cobb, in-between Powder Springs and Marietta. It now aside from having 20+ food vendors (pay as you taste), will also offer local arts and crafts vendors, and a car show. Admission is free though again, you pay per sample for the food.
The weather forcast is for sunny and around 80-degrees that day.

Just keep in mind when you're trying out the samples - as I learned the hard way one year... it's not good to mix sausage and peppers with spicey Asian food, and top if off with some lasagna.
