I understand what you're saying, but not what you're referring to.

Access to great skiing is about the only one I can think of where Atlanta is in a clear disadvantage.

I'm not sure I agree at all when it comes to the Twin Cities metro, which I think does a number of things better than Atlanta.
Of course, the reverse is also true.
Since I've already made various comparisons between the Atlanta and Twin Cities metro areas before in other threads, this might not be the best place to bring them up again...

I like living in the Atlanta metro, but I would much rather live in the Twin Cities if we could afford to do so for a variety of reasons.
My wife, however, prefers living down here.
I personally think it's a toss-up, not a clear-cut contest either way.

I could understnad you wanting to live in the Twin Cities area. I personally would like to see those lakes and Minnehaha Falls(and the sculpture of the spoon and cherry).
What have you liked about Atlanta so far?

Its a nice city.I don't like snow or long winters.I would live in NYC or Chicago if that was not ans issue.Minnepolis has more public art.Thatsone of Atlanta major flaws.I hate that.NO statutes hardly of men on horses, with guns or half naked ladies with one breast showing and a sword in the other hand.LOL
