Wow. Just ... wow...

The only bumper sticker I have on my car is attached magnetically, and it isn't political in nature.

Oh, I also have a Linux shark logo on the back, but I happen to like Linux.

Thanks so much, rswlguy, for your energetic concern and support. I didn't report it because I don't know for 100% certain when and where the offensive stickers were affixed to my car. I didn't notice them until next morning, and my car was parked out in the driveway overnight.

Now, I think if the stickers had been placed on the car earlier in the day, before dark, when the car was at home or on a trip to Publix, we'd have noticed them. But I can't say that for certain. And I naturally indignantly removed them from my car without any thought of displaying them to the police. I honestly doubt they'd be too interested.

Oh, and I doubt (but can't be certain) the car was defaced in the driveway overnight, because my two big dogs kick up a fuss when anyone comes around.

It's just evidence that there are yahoos around. But thanks again for your concern. Meanwhile, as things stand in the polls today, I can take comfort in the thought that interfering with my sticker and lawn sign isn't going to change the outcome of the election, and the yahoos will likely find the result not to their liking.

So I think of our sign as saying "you're not alone" to any Democrats who drive by. By the way, our sign has been out there for a week or so now, and it hasn't been molested, so far.
I guess it was too good to last. The lawn sign disappeared today. We plan to replace it with two. The lawn sign vandals are helping fuel Democratic coffers.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I suppose it's possible that an Obama yard sign is a hot item now, since Obama is doing so well in the polls. Obama is what's "hot" and McCain is "not."
