Saxby Chambliss
Old Saxby is getting a run for his money against Martin. Good! After that NASTY campaign against Max Cleland, he deserves a hard time. Plus, he supports outrageous aid to the mega-agriculture group.
Yea!
Can't wait until election day and GA goes Democratic!!!!!

It is fine here. As long as it sticks to Georgia politics. Now, if it moves to a national scope then it will be moved.
If I moved it Politics, most folks around the country would say what the heck is a Saxby Chambliss? Some type of saxaphone?

I wish they would quit calling me to tell me to please go and vote for them. It is bad enough that every other commercial is the same old thing - but can't I have some peace when I go to work at least?!

Jim Martin and the national Dems started running ads that were at best misleading, and they know damn well what Saxby supported and what the fair tax is.... they just chose to leave out the important details and hope that people who were ignorant of them would simply hear and believe what they told them.
From the beginning, Martin has said nothing about his plans or views of where he would take the country. His entire campaign has been nothing but one cliche after another. He thinks if he says "BUSH ECONOMIC PLAN" and "FAILED BUSH POLICIES" over and over again in commercials and any forum he's in, that will get a knee jerk response from people who know little to nothing of the facts. Unfortunately, he may be right.

^^ I agree. The FairTax LIE really got to me. I mean that is really trying to pull some wool. I have a strong suspicion that Martin will get a nice bump just from OBama's popularity as people go down the ballot, whether they are informed or not (far less are about Chambliss vs Martin etc). The black market does not debunk the fairtax, please read the proposal.
I am torn because I really support income tax reform and do not understand how one cannot, but the cozy business + govt relationships breed corruption and that irritates me (more often than not). As for Cleland, I do not believe in running other people's vendetta for them so no comment there.
