Persimmon Creek, anyone? (Sharpsburg)
Does anyone know anything about Persimmon Creek in Sharpsburg? We are thinking about buying a home there but before diving in, I wondered if anyone knows anything about it, lives there, has advice/opinions on it..... We also want to know what the HOA fees are if anyone happens to know. (If not, we'll talk to our lawyer Mon. and get an answer.) Thanks!

It's a cute neighborhood. If we can ever sell our house in town - that is near the top of our list! I believe the HOA dues are $375/year. I have been told to use Martin Homes v. the other one (name is escaping me right now). But it's in a good school district, has lots of ammenities, and is close to the highway and shopping. Good choice!

I LOVE living in Persimmon Creek! Moving can always be a scary experience, but we were put at ease with our builder and his agents. If you get the oppurtunity, check out Mike Mansfield Homes. His agents are Barret McDowell and Joy Barnes. They made the whole moving process....ENJOYABLE! We actually became friends with them during the process!

Is there more than one builder? I just came across Jeff Betsill Homes. If you knoew there were two or more what made you decide to go with Mansfield?
Probably relocating to ATL from WDC. Grew up in Douglasville but will not go back for many reasons. Our other choice we have narrowed down too is Cherokee County (Canton). Schools seem to be top notch. Are you satisfied with Cannongate, Madras or Northgate?

Just asking......why do you want to move to the northside? You mean Northside Atlanta or Persimmon North?

I live in Persimmon Creek and love it. We bought a home from Jeff Betsill Homes, Inc. and love it too! The location puts you within minutes of Tyrone, Peachtree City, Sharpsburg & Newnan!

Do you have a basement? We've sold several homes in Persimmon. Great neighborhood. Great resale.
