((Referring to the posts containing lots of sewage on the AJC blog )).

People post all kinds of garbage on the Internet because they *think* they are relatively "anonymous" hiding behind a keyboard. The chances are quite slim that most of these morons who post such drivel would utter verbally most any of that crap to others in person (having a conversation). They might would do it by phone in the form of a prank call or something, but definitely not in person.

Reading the posts on the AJC is as bad as the YouTube comments or most of what you see on the IMDB message boards. I prefer some moderation over a bunch of drivel you see there.

Though I am quite interested in politics, I avoid political message boards for the same reason. People just get nasty about that subject and it is not worth my precious time in reading most of it.

The thing is they are saying how they feel. They are venting THEIR true feelings which is what is scary. The internet gives cowards a way to express themselves without having their skull kicked in. If that many non blacks feel that way inside, no telling what a brave arrogant one will try. If it was a USA Today site it would be more anonymous. But 9 times out of 10 if you are posting on the AJC site your probably in the Atlanta Metro. area. We all know those cowards would never say that stuff without being secure about the reaction.

We just don't hear much about it, due to our own view of what people from Latin America or "Hispanics" look like. So, I think people have to keep that in mind as well. It would be like White people that descended from such people that came pre-Civil War versus Whites that came after, with each having different types of Europeans involved, but we still consider them as "White" regardless. So, again just my two cents.
I would have to disagree with this part, however.

I am happy to see Dr. Martin Luther King's Dream go to unspeakable heights!!!!!
I am happy to see THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT.
I am happy to see CHANGE.
I am happy to see such an intelligent black male represent the African American population & this country.

I am happy to see a strong BLACK woman as his wife.
And she is just as intelligent as he is!!

I am happy to see such a beautiful family together.

I am blessed to have my grandmother living to see this.

I am happy to see people from all walks of life and cultures vote for him and support him. Thank You!

Oh how deeply do I wish Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, and others were alive to see this. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. However, I know they are smiling looking down at this right now...

Thank you Martin, Thank you Rosa, Thank you Malcolm, and all of the others. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rosa sat down so Martin could walk. Martin walked so Obama could Run

THANK YOU

I would be worried more about white supremacist now than black violence if Mccain won. Everybody paints this picture of blacks being this big scary violent group when reality is they are about the most docile group on the earth.

With the exception of burning their own neighborhoods and starting the Black Panthers (which was quickly exterminated by J. Edgar Hoover) African American's are all talk no action. **** off some Irish men Now! And you get 30 years of terrorist bombings. Take land from the Palestinians. Ohhh sh--! Irritate the white colonist by taxing their tea. Buddy you got a bloody war on your hands. Even the peace loving indians when pushed far enough began scalping the white man. But, African Americans claim to fame is the peaceful resistance of Dr. King. And a few mostly self destructive riots after all the injustices put upon them.

If you're going to the White House, you gotta have a dog.
