Peachtree city or Fayetteville (section 8, apartments, rental homes)

My family and I will be relocating to Peachtree city for my new job in Fayetteville.So the most important things that I am looking for is the best preschool, best communities & loaded with children, close to all & safe of course.
Also I want to know about Fayetteville,how is this place,and also preschools.

Fayetteville and Peachtree City are both good places to live. Both have good schools. You said you would be living in Peachtree City and working in Fayetteville. Lots of people do that. Why don't you google for rental homes in the area and check craigslist? Why not hit up one of the many brokers and find out what homes fitting your criteria go for? That would get you exact answers fast.

Fayette county is a great place to live. It's close enough to the city, but far enough away. The school systems are very good as well, but I'm a little biased considering that's where I went from pre-k to 12th grade.

I went to Peachtree City schools from 4th through 12th grade. I found the schools to be quite lacking myself. When I moved from NH, the schools in PTC were a year behind where we had been. McIntosh High School in PTC had a very weak math and science department as well. I found myself unprepared when I got to college in several areas.

For the state of Georgia, Fayette county has an excellent school system.

Peachtree City is a great place to raise a family. there are homes here from the $200k and up to millions, depending on the n'hood. Rentals start around $1000 and go up from there. good luck. it is a wonderful place to live!

We've looked apartments in this area....Balmoral, AMLI Peachtree, and Kedron....what's your take on them and others? We'd like to take our time looking for a home so apartments or renting a home is ideal right now....is there any 'bad' part in PTC? Someone menttioned section 8 housing but not sure where this is...
