I bought a new home in Atlanta,same city but different county.
My 4th grader asked to move from her current school to the new county school system only for her last 2 months of school year.
I talked to the principal and still it didn't worked out.
please some body had any experience.thanks

It didn't work out because you can't do that. You are in the system you are in. Sometimes certain systems allow people to pay tuition for a certain school, but other than that, you're out of luck.

If you are in "City of Atlanta" and moved within "City of Atlanta" then you were in Atlanta (City) Public school system (APS) then you should be able to do a 'out of sending area' request. If you moved from Fulton or Dekalb County Schools into APS or APS to F/D country schools . Then you are out of district, Thats Not allow'ed.
