Thanks Tucker, Ga!
I recently went to school, training on an video editing system at Sterling, Ledet and Associates in Tucker. I am a video editor from Nashville.
I just want to say, you are some of the friendliest people on the planet. I went to dinner each evening with my wife, and I never heard so many, "Hi how are you doing?", persons holding doors open for others, and just a very friendly environment, which made me feel right at home.
I had to walk from the school to my hotel, across a major route my first evening, as my wife went to Augusta and got stuck in a traffic jam returning on I-20, and was shocked that the Atlanta/Tucker drivers actually yield to pedestrians, something which is not done much here in Nashville. They mostly aim at them.
Anyway, thanks for making my trip, dinners out and my training such a joy during my two days in Tucker.
I am hoping to return to take more advance classes on this editing system in the Spring.
You sure are a wonderful group of people!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Unfortunately, we missed Matthews, but I did eat at some great Bar-B-Que place right next to the building my class was in. That place had some great Bar-B-Que.

How refreshing to see someone give a positive review. Good on the hometown folks and good on you Buzz for showing appreciation. Too many times it is easy to be negative and then be quiet about the positive things. That makes me want to go give out all the rep points I can!
I work in sales and hear the 1% that are not satisfied loud and clear but the vast majority that are pleased don't take the time to make positive statements.
I have a sister-in-law in Brentwood and have always enjoyed the Nashville area. It's been a few years since I've been, look forward to a chance to go back. I now have a son in Tennessee, he just started at Lee University. He lost his phone in the town somewhere, a man found it, found "Dad" in the address book and called me to let me know he found it and how could he get it back to him. So you Vols are a pretty good lot yourself.

Saintmarks, Thank you so much for your kind remarks.
My wife is from South Dakota, and we travel quite a bit to that state to visit her relatives, as well as others, for our yearly "long road trip". One year we camped out in Glacier National Park in Montana, and the next was Acadia National Park in Maine. About every place we have visited, we have had the fortunate luck to run into some very nice people.
The people from South Dakota do like to make fun of my Southern Accent and will always respond, after hearing me talk with, "You aren't from around here, are you?" I usually reply, "No, I am from the United States of America, that is where I am from". But, the conversation is in a humorous tone.
I felt by going to a larger city like Atlanta (Tucker), the people would not be as friendly, as I find them here in Nashville. But, as I stated in an earlier post, was very pleasantly surprised at how nice and friendly your area is. I commented to my wife at a restaurant, these are some of the friendliest people I have ever run into in our many years of traveling around the United States.
The drivers yielding for me to cross two busy intersections is what shocked me. I would not try that here unless there was no traffic coming from any direction.
I told my wife, if I could land a video editor job in your area, I wouldn't mind moving there.
Thanks again for the reputation point and your very nice post. See, you are one of the nice people I was talking about in my earlier post.
I hope you and yours have a very safe and happy Thanksgiving!
I hopefully may be down your way in Spring taking a more advance course on the editing system my company wants me to learn.
Sincerely.
Buzz Rawls from Nashville, TN
