Posted on here before, well be moving in the North ATL sub area in about a year, probably some where in the Gwinnett county area. I was resarching for major companies or corporate headquarters in the ATL area. I'm pretty much trying to create a list so I can start sending out my resume. I would also like to know about county and state jobs as well...thanks

Atlanta is home to just about any federal or state agency you could possibly want...the city has the largest concentration of federal government offices outside of Washington D.C., and being the state capital, Atlanta is full of state government offices as well.

To name a few: CDC, FBI, DEA, Citizenship and Immigration Services, Federal Reserve District Headquarters, FEMA, FCC, FTC, FDA, Department of Health and Human Services, Social Security, Homeland Security...and the list goes on.

As far as corporate headquarters...long list there too:
Coca-Cola
Delta
Home Depot
Chick-fil-A
Arby's/Wendy's
Georgia Power
Georgia Pacific
Newell Rubbermaid
Acuity Brands
Intercontinental Hotels
RaceTrak
Popeye's Chicken
CNN
Atlantic Southeast Airlines
Cox Communications
Turner Broadcasting
Mindspring
Earthlink
Scientific-Atlanta
Haverty's
Holiday Inns
Waffle House
Mellow Mushroom
SunTrust Bank
UPS
Rayovac
Equifax
Rollins/Orkin
Genuine Parts
Mirant
AT&T Mobility
Southern Company
BIKE Athletic
American Software
Atlanta Gas Light
Great American Cookie Co
Aaron Rents
AGL
Moe's Southwestern Grill
Atlantis Plastics
Logility
EMS Technologies
Premier Global Services
M2SYS Technology
Entec Engine Corp
Global Payments

Anybody want to add to the list?

Some years ago already, Google opened a data center just west of Atlanta, I think it is in or near Douglasville.
