Clark Howard will NOT run for Mayor
He made a statement this AM on WSB radio...he said that he felt he couldn't properly execute the job and be a good father to his kids.
Too bad for us.

LD, I propose you sell the place in Decatur, move a few blocks west and run yourself! I'll move back from Texas and vote for you.

This reads like a lovefest. Am I the only person here who can't stand Clark Howard?
And a TV/Radio personality doesn't make someone a good mayor.

What's not to like about Clark Howard? It isn't because he is a "TV/Radio personality", it is abilities and understanding of finance that has him on TV/Radio beacuse there is no one else that has a grasp on money like he does.
And what do the current and preceding Mayors have on their resumes that is any better than this? Or any of the ones running?
And I hate to even have to bring this up, but the question must be asked -- is he of the wrong pigment to be the mayor of Atlanta? Or of the wrong religious persuasion?

Religion doesn't matter, but pigment does. I hear good ole Cynthia McKinney is going to run. With all the complaining about Chambliss on here, could you imagine her as a Senator?
