Easy access to I-20, huh?

Peachtree City is one of the nicest suburbs of Atlanta or any other city in the U.S.

I can think of plenty of places in the metro area worse than Peachtree City.

Clayton county was already mentioned. Definitely avoid that area no matter what. That county voted 80% for Barack Obama, but that is not the reason to avoid it. For me personally and probably coming from a very different perspective than dudewithaplan comes, high crime rates is more of an issue rather than the how the locals lean politically.

Better areas are North Fulton, parts of Gwinnett, most of Fayette county and parts of Cobb IMO. Covington is OK as well.
I dont know if there is. Im new to this. Geee.

Well I certainly haven't made it to all or even a decent percentage of suburbs. I can only go with what I know. We visited Woodstock earlier this year and liked it so much that we plan on moving there very soon. I used to like what is now Johns Creek, but it has gotten so overgrown in the past 5 years that it has lost most of what made it wonderful.

I liked downtown Marietta when I visited, but I know little about living there.

So many of these "best/worst" "love it/hate it" threads really depend on what you want out of a neighborhood, city or region. One person might love it and another hate it because they each want or need very different things. There really is no right or wrong answer.

That's not 'easy' access. That's like me taking 92 from Acworth to I-20, not easy access.

To knock a community because of income of the residents and political persuasion that aren't ones own is..... well, fill in the blank. I got cut by a moderator in the political thread for being rude and I was thinking rude things just then.

I am conservative, vote rebublican (sad to say I'm not wealthy tho) but I admire ITP neighborhoods and won't list them derogatorily (is that a word?... derogitorially?) because they have rich democrats in them.

Peachtree City would have a shot at being the best suburb of Atlanta in a wider poll.

Worst would have to be anything in Clayton County because of the sad state of affairs with the school board.

Someone ask about the burbs and the whiney ***** libs have to cry over their Georgia loss and cry about how all repubs are 'dumb', 'stupid', etc.

Georgia votes for Dems also, but they have to be conservative Dems. Jones was more conservative than Martin, WTH did you expect?

You probably wouldn't recommend Cobb either. I'm guessing you're a Fulton or Dekalb resident.

It's probably too close in to count as a suburb, but Decatur is nice.
