I am into sports. Older QB coming off an injury (proven but risky) or the younger QB doing a good job? That Unrestricted FA will not be Franchised just to sit behind the elite vet who may not be ready to come back. Trade the elite vet for two first round picks and move on, that's the N.E. way anyway.
Oh yeah, I agree with your points. I have a theory too, as our city grows and becomes more established so will the teams and fanbases.

Nightlife here sucks today more than it did 5 years ago. Considering there are over 5 big colleges in-town, that's pretty stupid that they screwed up nightlife.
You hear all these rap songs about "tha club" but it's all hype and BS, most of those clubs from "welcome to altanta" are shut down today.
But PRAISE THE LORD at least the Churches got their way.

Why don't you try a church for some good nightlife? There is a lot more life there than the monotony of getting drunk to loud music around a bunch of other people doing the same.
Just a thought....

What is Little Rock? The pee hole?

No.
The American South is Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennesse, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky (minus the Cincinnati Metro), South Virginia (Richmond to Charlottesville southward, with an arm reaching up the Shenandoah Valley), and North Florida (Ocala to Daytona Beach northward).
Texas is...well, Texas. (Its own unique culture/region...an amalgation of Southern, Mexican, Midwestern, Western/Southwestern).
Central+South Florida is Florida. North Florida is distinctively southern...really an extension of South Alabama and South Georgia.
Case closed. Enough said.

That looks to be your definition. If I want to include all of Florida and all of Virginia and all of Texas in the American South, I can and it won't be incorrect.
Some people appear to be very anal about what is and is not included in the South. Some of the areas that are often debated may or may not be included as part of the region - it's up to each individual.

I tend to agree. After all, geography is more of an imaginary category than a literal physical one. Get a Westerner (Californian) with a Southerner and the Westerner will still consider themselves a 'Northerner' every time.
Anyway this is why it's really a waste of time to speak of a capital of the South. As I explained above, the region as defined above has not had a major capital city with the possible exceptions of New Orleans and Charleston, but -- fairly or not -- I don't think either would be seen as rising to the level of being a capital city in any sense other than historical. Which leaves Atlanta - which is too young and immature. An argument without end.

This individual says:
Miami, Florida is "south" only in terms of geography (if you know what I mean).
