PM me and we can start a conversation...I wouldn't do it justice just posting on here...
A one-on-one, face-to-face conversation is actually the best scenario for this discussion, but that is not possible...

Both cities saw a rise in african american population the same years Atlanta saw a decline.
I am only 16, but when I graduate college I wanna move to the new black mecca. By then (2015) Atlanta will have been dethroned. But by what city?!

Atlanta is going to stay a highly black populated area, just like DC, New Orleans and Detroit. It's among those places that will always be seen as a great place for Blacks, therefore it will always be a black mecca. However, in recent years blacks have been moving outside the city (to the surrounding suburbs) just like in DC.
The next black mecca to hit the map if you ask me is definitely going to be Charlotte, NC. Maybe Nashville will be a 2nd place, but Charlotte will be 1st.

I think it's going to be Jacksonville Florida. What a lot of black people don't know it's a lot of black history there. Hell one of the first black Millionaires ever Abraham Lincoln Lewis he owned american beach a place where blacks went to chill because they were not allowed to go to the other beaches. Ray Charles had one of his first tours there it has a growing black middle class home of Edward Waters College one of the first black colleges. A lot of black businesses there also on the rise. I was number 10 on the list for best cities for blacks to live in on black enterprise. And it has a growing Hip hop scene lead by artist such as Swordz, Blakhart, The Ab's, Dukwon, Flyi DCG and More. Also some good unsigned RnB Artist there. I think that's going to be the next black hot spot in the future it's a growing city kind of like how Atlanta was before it exploded in the 90's.
