I love it. I could live in weather like this all the time. I like it warm, and I like the fog. And when the two come together ... even better.

I spent late Saturday afternoon wandering around Oakhurst (in south Decatur) ... great neighborhood. I liked seeing those old homes shrouded in the dusk mist, wondering what all was going on inside each of them behind their walls. Very moody, mysterious and nice.

And I could do it in a sweatshirt and a pair of shorts ... so much the better.

When I win that imaginary $5 million, I'm going to move to a place that's often foggy and often warm!

It's funny. When we had our unusually cool late-November and December (which were more like our usual Jan. temps) I remember thinking, well, you know what this means? One of 2 possibilities: either the cold weather simply gets out of Dodge entirely and we end up with an even milder winter than normal, OR, when winter sets in for real in Jan. it will be strikingly colder than normal. Well, needless to say, I think we can see which of these appears to be happening (at least for the moment).

You see, Groundhog Day here in Atlanta actually comes around Jan. 1 or so, a little earlier than you might expect. And as this year is showing I guess sometimes it can even come sooner than that!

That would be San Francisco, and you'll need close to the full 5-million dollars to afford a decent house there now. LOL

It's not "warm" in San Francisco when it is foggy - in fact, it's the opposite. The clouds and fog keep CA coast quite chilly, thanks to the cold upwelling waters off of the central CA coast.

I am glad you are enjoying it! Personally I find it a bit depressing, I can deal with cold as long as the sun is shining.

I need sunshine as well, but I like it warm, LOL.

If you are feeling kinda of blah, you might want to think about adding some VItamin D to your system. It's the sunshine Vitamin.
