Peach Tree sounds great and I wish I had moved there 15 years ago, but I wonder if my daughters will be bored there, it sounds so geared to families with school age kids. Do most people work in Atlanta and commute; if so how long does it take. I also wonder if we would be better off tax wise to choose a different area, since schools are not a consideration for us. Any info/thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you
PTC is more of a family oriented town. Many people who live there work for one of the airlines at the nearby Atlanta Airport. It's well known for the large number of pilots who live there.

I would suggest moving closer into the city so that you daughters would still be near good dining options, clubs, excellent shopping, etc. This area of town would be Buckhead but you probably would not want to move ther eas it is very congested and similar to many areas of California. But you could always live closeby in places like Smyrna and Sandy Springs. In Smyrna homes rangge from the 200s to the 700s and in Sandy Springs they range fom the 300s into the millions. Chamblee is close to Buckhead too and has homes in the 200s to 500s range and is the most affordable of the three. Living clost to Buckhead, the social heart of the city, will give you and your daughters all the convienence of a city-lifestyle, while still living in a quiet suburban area of town.
