Wow...I remember every single thing on there. Guess that makes me a native. Hadn't thought about the Reg Murphy kidnapping in a while...his house backed up to ours in Druid Hills.
I saw Mr. Murphy at the Harris Teeter on St Simons a while back...he lives there now.

Roller skating rink on Buford Hwy or somewhere in the vicinity.

I honestly cannot remember when stores closed on a Wednesday afternoon in Atlanta.
