Default East Lake

Have you seen Alston Drive lately? Beautifully restored traditional brick homes.

2370 Alston Drive (with views of East Lake Golf Club) is the location of Atlanta Magazine's 2007 Dream Home, opening October 25, 2007.

Have you driven down Glenwood Avenue recently?

Having grown up in that area of ATL (Kirkwood actually) and Caddied at East Lake Golf Club, its wonderful that the neighborhood returni to its former glory.

oh tell me about East Lake Golf Club! I read that if you are a resident within a certain distance from it that you get a discount. And I think the green and cart fees are amazing!! I especially like the annual discount that seniors can get because my mom likes to play golf. I play too.

Sorry, ELGC is still very exclusive and very expensive. What you are reffering to is Charlie Yates Golf Course, which is right next door. Most of the holes are Par 3, with a few Par 4's. Its still a very nice course.

I think that East Lake Golf club is the place that hosts PGA Tour championship every year. So I doubt they let everybody play there.

Oops... yes just looked that up - it's Charles Yates that is listed on the Kirkwood website. I'm just an amateur so I don't mind courses that aren't too difficult and are fun to play.
