Default Question for those who have sold a home..

We want to list our house to sell (in n. georgia, to move to mtta). When you met with a potential realtor to list your house, what did you look for? What would have been helpful to know in retrospect? Would you hire an experienced realtor or someone new, who might have more time to spend on your house? Would a new agent be more inclined to accept a commission cut? Does it REALLY matter which agent you select within a company, don't they work together? Speaking of commission, what is standard for Georgia? Can you ask your agent to give a % of their commission to the seller as motivation (like to cover closing costs?)?

Sorry, I know, a lot of questions.
Thanks!
