Mine would not change...my kids would just go to the new elementary on Ponce, Inman Middle, and Grady High...an excellent trio. Plus, really cool digs for "play dates." Be like livin' in the Upper East Side or Upper West Side (of NY), or many other cosmopolitan cities...but instead in Atlanta!

Buy a home in Druid Hills. Have a condo in Miami, Vegas or LA, and one NOVA. Then I would have a yacht to travel to exotic destinations for several weeks at a time.
**you did say money wasn't a factor**

I wouldn't change my answer either -- Druid Hills has good public schools plus a number of excellent private schools in the area.
Of course, the neighborhood that any of us would choose is pretty irrelevant since there's no reason to think that our dream neighborhood would bear any resemblance to your dream neighborhood.
What constitutes a great neighborhood as far as you're concerned? What part of town will you be working in? Do you prefer intown living or life in the suburbs? Do you want to be able to walk to neighborhood shops & restaurants or do you prefer driving to a mall? Do you want nearby parks or do you prefer more challenging outdoor pursuits like easy access to hiking, fishing, river rafting? Do you need easy access to the airport? Do you prefer a gated community? Are there any other attributes your dream neighborhood must have (or must not have)?

Druid Hills, Ansley Park or Peachtree Battle - and if $$$ was really no object, I'd send my kids to private schools.
