Buckhead Betty1 is on a distinguished road
Well naturally I would say Buckhead but it really would depend on what your interests are. But for me I would say:
1.Buckhead (Highrise Penthouse)
2.Alpharetta (Country Club of the South)
3.Lake Lanier area (Lake Front Property)

If money was not a factor, I would buy out the top 2 floors of the SunTrust or BOA tower and convert it into a two story condo... ultimate penthouse!

Or I would do the same thing with the Sundial

Heh. If money was really not a factor, I'd buy Hawaii as my private estate and live in a nuclear aircraft carrier anchored offshore. That would give me very good home security (break into MY house, will you?), good world-wide mobility without leaving home, and a very nice place to come back to.

Aside from not living in ATL at all:

1)One of the homes adjacent to Freedom Park (especially along Druid Place and along North Ave.)
2)Parkview Village (adjacent to Smyrna Market Village)
3)Virginia Highlands/Druid Hills
4)Glenwood Park (just south of I20 on Glenwood Ave.)
5)Peachtree City

I guess technically if money didn't matter, #1 is the only answer that counts.

So much of the metro area I haven't learned yet. Money is no object ... and I stay here. I'd say the nicest condo I could find in Decatur, and maybe a little place for the weekend in Pine Lake.

Shhhh. I have unlimited money. Here's a billion to keep it quiet.

Actually, I forgot to mention the first step of my cunning plan: the initial purchase of Hawaii was on behalf of the State of Georgia, and I made sure that it was officially recognized as Georgia territory ... and then annexed by the City of Atlanta ... before I paid off the state gov't and turned it into my personal playground.

Problem solved.

(Maybe I had to also make it a part of Fulton County... I don't remember... I pay people to do that for me now...)
