Default Where to live?

Hi everyone,
I've been living in GA lawrenceville for the past 1 month with family, now I'm thinking of relocating to Atlanta as I'm 29 yrs old male and missing the urban life.
I'm not strict on an exact area in Atlanta but my budget as around 700$ looking for a studio apt. I would prefer near a university (GSU mayb) but currently I don't own a car and that's what is driving me out of Lawrenceville in the first place. I'm sitting for a medical exam in the next 3 months so I'm basically unemployed for the time being but can afford it.
I've done some research around the internet but generally reviews are usually disappointing esp. around downtown.
What areas would be nice yet affordable??

Thanks in advance

Have you tried ProMove apartment locators? Many have had good results with them.

You will have some good choices --areas around Inman Park are exceptionally nice.

I'm certain other posters will have some thoughts for you.

There may be some FYI here>>>
