Peachtree City Subdivisions
Can you suggest subdivisions in PTC with swim/tennis, preferably on the north side (easy access to 85N)? We have a young child and are seeking a house between $300k - $400k.
Thanks!

I can recommend a great new neighborhood just north of Peachtree City (even closer to 85N!) in Tyrone: Southampton
Southampton has everything you are looking for for your family: swim/tennis, great homes, your price range, great schools, easy access, strong community, and it is a John Wieland Neighborhood.
I hope this helps! Good Luck!

SouthHampton is a very diverse middleclass community. The houses there are really nice. If you want less diversity, look at Kedron and further south.
There are also good family communities in Tyrone, but like i mentioned, the school district is very diverse (including illegals bordering fairburn).
I suggest hiring a realtor with the price range, bedrooms, and location.

Hehe, if you go to Kedron Hills. Look for the "Home of the Kings". The house is so big it looks like a museum from the front!

i dropped off one of my daughter's classmate (sandy creek hs, tyrone) at a trailer park bordering fairburn and tyrone. my daughter admitted that her friend's family were illegal aliens.

I'm referring more to your comments about Southampton..."very diverse"..."if you want less diversity", etc...
Southampton is not a trailer park--it's a master-planned upper-middle class John Wieland community.
Plus, Burch Elementary, Tyrone Elementary, Flat Rock Middle, and Sandy Creek High are a strong group of schools.

i have friends that live at south hampton, i'm not referring that subdivision to a trailer park. i've also considered looking for a house there but couldn't find a 5 bedroom house available there at the time. btw, i live in tyrone.
as for the place being diverse, yes it very diverse. there are parents that don't want to live in a diverse neighborhood. south hampton is a very nice place. my in-laws do not like diverse neighborhoods.

I know PTC very well.
Kedron Hills like some have mentioned. Avoid most of HWY 54.
You might find yourself looking at Smokerise plantation, but those are high, and at times when they are bank owned they go over your max price of 400k. The neighborhood is very nice.
