I think there's at least one poster here who lives there (or did, anyway).

I think the location is very nice in same ways - I've heard it has a great view of the Atlanta skyline. I still wonder how windy it is up on the hill there, though. It's almost looks like a castle when you drive by with that high retaining wall.

Searching this forum for "Cobblestone Creek" should give you some additional info. I know several Mableton threads will show up if you do that, anyway...

I live in Cobblestone Creek I sent a PM to the OP. We like it alot here. The community is great and everyone is friendly. From my back porch you can see Atlanta. Also we are close to 285 and I20 (about 2 miles) we have had some problems when we first moved in, I won't get back into them but you can do a search and find them. Probably the only gripe I have is that we were under the assumption that the clubhouse was for residents use, but you have to rent it to use it for gatherings ($100 non- refundable) and it's impossible to get in touch with the HOA company, they just refuse to call you back. But on the positive side we only pay $135 a month dues. It's just one of those things they don't tell you till after you sign the papers. All in all though I really enjoy it here.

rcsteiner * No issues with wind, I don't even notice it. It may cause some issues with satellite dishes though?

We had full access to our HOA's covenants, policies, etc., well before we signed the papers, but our HOA is 20 years old and may have that process down a little bit better.

I think our common building has a similar fee associated with its use, but we only pay $500/year for HOA dues. Of course, that's mainly to maintain the tennis courts, common building, pool, and playground, and to keep the entrance landscaping pretty -- they don't mow our lawns or anything like that.

Thanks for the comments folks. I went out to this placed and loved it. It is a really good value, and in my opinion a bit better in a lot of ways than the John Weiland homes, and not because of the price either.

Hey Jason - glad to hear things have settled down for you since you first moved in and you are getting to enjoy the new neighborhood. Just curious, since it's been about 1.5 year since I moved from the area - any new development from a retail perspective around there? Specifically, has anything gone up in the Legacy retail space yet?

Question: I've seen a little info about the CC subdivision, but are there any other properties in Mableton with that same view? Cobblestone can't be the only properties on that hill (elevation) could it?

(For anyone else who hasn't seen the view) Cobblestone Creek, Mableton:

I just realized that this next pic is not CC Mableton, it is actually from Summitop Road, Marietta:
