my younger bro owns a few hud apartments in OH. the occupants are of lesser intelligence. as long as the government keeps paying him, he will continue to offer housing for the undesireables. while he was making his usual weekly maintenance, he witness one of the occupant's child banging on the toilet with a hammer.
also, he got used to the stench of urine and weed in the premises.
without a place for the undesireables to live, they will break into your homes and possibly murder you so they can survive.
ex-cons and paroled pedophiles also need a place to live. it is up to the community to set standards to push out the undersireables to other communities that have bad leadership (clayton). i live in fayette county, the community is strong and we elect officials that adhere to the communty's standards.
it's a competitive world, stay and fight or move on to a like minded community.

I was born and raised right here so I have had to deal with "those people" throughout my whole life. I will not apologize for not wanting to be around bottom feeders. As I stated before if they elevated themselves and their behaviors then their presence in nice parts of town wouldnt be an issue but they dont! They bring the whole area down to their level, ie CLAYTON COUNTY!!! No amount of politically correct BS from the bleeding heart crowd will ever change my opinion of that because I have experienced it first hand!!

I dont see why people are mad at suprascooby. I dont care for low lives whatever the race is. I work hard, and make sure my kids dont have to go to school with those who dont put effort to help their kids and themselves. There's nothing racist about it.
Guys, I think you all missed the point. I think some are offended because you all think he's aiming at black or just poor people. There is something people have to see for what they are. There are standards, classes and social economic levels for every group, race in every society. I think people need to get above and beyond race here. I personally do not, and will not associate with people whose standards are not elevated, or progressive be it white, black or latino.
I can sense racism and racist undertones when I see them, but this is not about racism. I dont think Suprascooby would be making the same fuss if he lived among professional/middle class well to do blacks in the Cascade/Camp Creek areas, or Latinos in some affluent suburb/middle class area in South Florida. I've been to different areas of Clayton myself, and stated already that I myself did not like it and would not move there for anything. Does that make me racist? No, just of greater standards. Some can call it elitist, I call it progressist . I think he's been clear about his points, and think we all need to be honest with ourselves.
Hope all the flaming and finger pointing can slow down....Now let's go watch our President's speech.

i agree with misterNY and supra, this isn't a race issue. i lived in brooklyn NY and now part of an upper middle class communty. i find that poverty brings out the worse in people. it's just that some people are too focused on associating poverty with skin color.
my father-in-law hangs out with welfare recipients (he is surviving on inheritance money that i manage for him, also, he is illiterate). in his neighborhood, it's mostly white trash (butler, PA). i don't associate poverty with skin color.
one thing i don't agree on is clayton county. since i border it, i don't think it's as bad as when i lived in brooklyn. there are pockets of nice communities in clayton county and should be able to attract affordable housing to young professional families (black or white, or hispanic). more nice families need to move in to force out the undesireables and elect officials that want a better quality of life for the community instead of feeding their egos.

I don't think that at all...from the information we've been given, I believe his actions were grossly exaggerated - or - he overreacted. It's the same reaction my parents had in 1972, and I really thought our society had changed since that time...granted, my parents' last straw was a stabbing on my sister's school bus, and this was in the midst of federal forced busing.
It's hard to believe that people are STILL in that mindset.

As long as once decent areas turn into crime infested ghettos this "mindset" will exist!

I understand what you are talking about 22, I work in Clay co and just hoping to hang on five yrs till retirement if I can. Nobody wants to go into a business, school or gas station and hear that loud mouth crap or that loud (rap)grap music blaring out or watching middle school and high school thugs walking home from school holding onto their pants with one hand as the fuul view of the underware is showing. My only question to that is what happened to fads, they are suppose to go out of style every 10 years and the next group of kids make up their own fads, now the kids are so stupid they just keep following the last blind mass of fools.
