There are light rail routes currently planned for the top end of the Perimeter--connecting Cumberland to Perimeter to Doraville; another route connecting Downtown Atlanta to Town Center out in Kennesaw; a route connecting Downtown Atlanta to Lithonia; a route extending out to Alpharetta; and of course the Beltline.

All of these projects are part of a regionwide transit plan which is depicted on this map (http://tpb.ga.gov/Documents/TPB/Aug08/Attachment%202%20_AgendaItem%20IV_Concept%203%20ma p.pdf - broken link).

Yep...that corridor should have the commuter train and heavy or light rail.

In this corridor, the commuter train would have stops at Tucker, Emory/Druid Hills, and Lindbergh/Armour.

The heavy or light rail would have additional stops at Northlake, (maybe west Tucker/east Northlake), North Druid Hills/Leafmore, Clairmont, Sage Hill, and Cheshire Bridge--as well as the Tucker and Emory/Druid Hills stops.
