Here are the stores coming.

Vera Wang
Just Cavalli
Chanel
Chloe
Dolce & Gabbana
Prada

Sounds exciting, but it doesn't really sound like a smart move.

Exactly. That's why it's probably a smart move...they probably can now take advantage of lease deals, and other discounts...

I'll take that bet...first, the developers have to develop...then, the stores have to open...THEN, the customers must show up in numbers to support them(there are only so many REAL HOUSEWIVES of Atlanta to support that kind of spending). Maybe the Donald will stop by while he's building his condo towers...oh, wait, never mind.

My step-dad's business has been cut back dramatically. Why? B/C he does hardscape/landscape projects for the wealthy, mainly in Buckhead. Most of his projects have been put on hold. His projects run $50K - $100K on average.

So yes, even the wealthy have been cutting back on spending.
