Racial break down off all the public schools in Metro Atlanta (White: office, area)

Many people get on here asking about the racial makeup of an area. The link below will show you the racial breakdown per each school in any given county or you can look at it by district. I personally was SHOCKED to see that Henry county, were I moved from, only has 2 majority white high schools out of 9!

How is that even remotely possible?

Races in Henry County, Georgia:

• White Non-Hispanic (80.1%)
• Black (14.7%)
• Hispanic (2.3%)
• Two or more races (1.1%)
• Other race (0.8%)
• Asian Indian (0.6%)
• American Indian (0.6%)

Just read a few post on here and you will see that many posters want to know what the racial makeup of an area is. Looking at the schools is the easiest way to do this without throwing out opinions. The link is provided by the State Board of Ed.

Those numbers just dont match up to the link that I posted. I mean how can a county that is 80.1% white have 7 out of 9 highschools be majority minority?

Henry county has seen a huge influx of minorites but it's still 60% non hispanic white. I'd hardly say the minorities are "taking over" lol

This is interesting information. Just curious to know, did the pageant that was at Dutchtown Middle (or High) from a previous post that caused you to flee Henry County conjure this post?
