Default Questions regarding living near Access Rd...

It is time for me to move again and it looks like I will be spending another 6-12 months in Atlanta . Nevertheless, I will not be renewing my lease and have been apartment hunting this week. I visited a nice community DIRECTLY on the Access Rd and its gated. Unfortunately, that means that I cannot do a night time drive by to see how the real dynamics of the community are like.

Well, my questions are, if you have lived by the Access Rd. include:

1. Did you have any additional issues with security than any other community?
2. How were noise levels from the highway to your residence?
3. Anything I should be mindful of selecting a residence on the Access Rd.?

And one final question, is 30345 considered Dekalb or Fulton County and is it considered to be apart of N. Druid Hills.

Thanks for your help

I suppose in such communities if your apartment was located away from the front entrance then noise from the interstate wouldn't be an issue.

I have been doing some research on this since the post and it looks like 30345 is classified as Dekalb.

References include Zip Info and by this site it looks like the zip is 100% within Dekalb County limits.

However, it doesn't look like its classified as N. Druid Hills as its NE above I-85.

One link indicated that 30345 was Brookhaven which would explain the confusion over Fulton/DeKalb Counties. I think the county line is just beyond N. Druid Hills on Peachtree Rd.
