Still learning all the areas...what exactly is in the NW quarter of DeKalb?

Not so many McCain stickers in central and south Cobb. Let the conservative elements of the county live in their northeastern sanctuary...

Cobb=stuck in civil war past... literally, go to the Cobb county courthouse and it looks like you stepped back in time 40 years... LOL, gaudy interior decorations with civil war paintings adorn the walls...Cobb county's central city, Marietta, is a slum-town full of washed up old lawyers and street corners filled with illegal aliens begging for work. Go to downtown Decatur in Dekalb and it feels like you travelled ahead in time 50 years... I"M NOT KIDDING!
|
Marietta is one of the several towns in Cobb, and it has the Big Chicken. What else could one want?
The Big Chicken, Marietta, Georgia

Smyrna is a wonderful town, Vinings 30339 is one of the hottest ZIP codes in the Atlanta metro area for housing, Kennesaw Mountain is in the middle of the county with all of its historic significance, and there are at least two nice theatres (the Mable House Amphitheatre and the Cobb Energy Center) where one can watch all sorts of events w/o having to drive into Atlanta proper. There are other nice areas, too. East Cobb claims to be nice, for example.

Pretty much Decatur City, Druid Hills, Emory, North Decatur, North Druid Hills, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Dunwoody, Oak Grove, Toco Hill, Northlake, Embry Hills, etc.
Pretty much - I may have missed a few.
