I expect to be smothered with work over the next few months but I hope to "get out" and enjoy Atlanta a little more. What are some activities or places do many of you enjoy during the spring/summer months? Even thought I am NOT a baseball fan, I thought about going to a Brave's game (never been to any league games before). What else with a resident-tourist do...? I am up for travel within a 3 hour radius of the area for a good weekend getaway.

I'm really looking forward to Jazz Fest over Memorial Day weekend - in Piedmont Park so you don't have to travel too far

How about going to an Atlanta Hawks game? They're going to be in the playoffs. It's really fun and exciting! I think you would probably like it.

What about...

Stone Mountain
The aquarium
Six Flags (I don't think too many people go there anymore)
There should be plenty of things to do downtown. Can't think of anything else!

I'm going to the Zoo in a few months. I went to the Aquarium, Coca~Cola, and Olympic Park last year. There's tons to do in the area. It's crazy how much there is.
